Revised Production Timeline
(I also added in another Fashion Shoot on the 18th June, as well as an additional Grooming shoot on the 20th.)
Final Updates
My website is finally complete, and this time around I feel a lot more accomplished in the result. I've managed to create 6 editorials as opposed to only 3 last time, add a whole new section to the site and make the site flow better together. I think now that every page is useful to my readers and I know that they will be interested in it all. For some final updates, I've changed my FAQ and About page. I thought they were satisfactory anyway, so I've only made some slight changes but I think it still looks better. This time, I've managed to stick to my work timeline a lot better and I think over all this has made a big difference to my finished website. By asking my customers what they wanted specifically, I feel like I've catered to them a lot better so I feel a lot more accomplished now it's done. By spending a lot more time in post-production my images are definitely of a better standard. Finally, by adding a variety of Fashion and Still Life shoots, my site has a new variety that it lacked before.
Day and Night
For my final Fashion shoot, I have decided to incorporate a 'Day to Night' outfit. I think this is a good idea because my customers are the type of people who lead busy lives, so giving them this idea to be able to go straight from the day through to the evening will be something they can relate to. I wanted to keep it simple, so I've not made it too complicated with the outfit changes.
Again, I've really focused on the post-production of my images, trying to make it sleek and simple.
I'm really happy with the outcome of this shoot and I think it will be really useful to my readers.

Disney Shoot
I am re-shooting my Disney shoot from my last submission. Although I was happy with the images, there weren't enough of them and I'd like to edit them a little better. I've gone back to the start, to research the trend.
Simply searching for Adult Disney clothing in Google gives you streams upon streams of websites where it can be purchased, so I still think it is a good idea to include this editorial on the site. Although it may not be a lasting trend, MANNOW is about showcasing relevant trends so I'm happy with my choice. I am going to use the same clothing from my previous shoot and make sure I get some extra shots, as my editorials need to be longer.
Here's a couple of photos from the shoot. I wanted this editorial to be really fun, so I've tried to edit my photos reflecting that. With the addition of some simple arrows in the same colour as Mickey Mouse, and some cartoon effects on the images, I think it brings a really fun element. I've also included some text on the images stating the products I am drawing attention to.

Updating the Site
As well as adding new photos to my website, I am also updating it by making some simple changes. Firstly, I am making sure that all of the text used on my editorials is the same for each page. Last time, for some reason I hadn't used the same font across my pages, and it was small changes like this that I think have really upgraded my website. I have also added the same speech bubble at the bottom of my fashion pages, telling customers where they can buy outfits. I think this is a good addition and stands out if customers are looking for it. According to my survey, my customers expected to see at least 5 different editorials a month, so I have made sure to have this amount. They were the most interested in Fashion, so I have included 3 fashion editorials, followed closely by Grooming, which I've added 2, and finally I have 1 Wardrobe Staples editorial.
Still Life 2
I'm really happy with how this shoot turned out. I've never tried a flat lay shoot before, and I think it works really well. I also spent a lot of time on the post production of my images which was suggested to me in my feedback. I've tried some mirroring techniques as well as others, which I think makes the images really interesting to look at.
Here are some examples of the shoot. To start off with, I was worried the addition of flowers making the photos look too girly, and like it was for a female audience, but by using just some simple white flowers and some small green ones, I think it works well and doesn't look too feminine.

Still Life 2
I've decided to add in another still life shoot to my website. The theme is going to be on aftershaves, and I'm going to try and do a flat lay shoot. I've never done one before so I think it will be interesting to see how it works out. I want my shoots to have variety so hopefully the different layout will accommodate that. My audience wanted to see grooming editorials, so I think 2 will be enough to start off with. I'll see how it works with the site once it is live, and then decide how often I will upload them.
Project Overhaul
Looking back on my project from my first hand in, I can see were I went wrong. Although I was showing some expensive items which is what caters to my demographic, I wasn't really relating it to them in any way. My images didn't have a lot of depth and so weren't very helpful in the long run. This time, I think I've catered to this a lot better. I spent a lot of time in the post production of my images, bringing them to a better standard than before where they looked a little flat. The text I've added is short and simple but it gives more context to the images as a whole and makes the editorial flow. By getting to know my target audience better, the editorials and pages have been better catered to their interests.

Backpack
Following my feedback, I've decided to expand my backpack shoot, making the editorial longer. I originally was focusing on one backpack but I've now added in an extra one. I've brought a similar backpack at a cheaper price because I thought it would be interesting for my customers to be able to compare them both. I also want to shoot the photos in a similar location so I have decided to do this on a farm. My previous shoot was in a forest. I think the comparison of the locations will look good together. Referring back to my target audience, they are people who like to spend time outside so this reflects that.
Here's a selection of the new photos I took. I'm really happy with how they turned out. I took some close up photos so that the readers can see the details on the backpack as well as some further away ones so you can get an idea of how it works with the outfit overall. This way you can also see the comparison between the backpacks.

Still life 1
These are the photos I managed to get from my own still life shoots. I am really pleased with how they turned out. I took some photos of the products without bubbles and then I added them in for various shots. The natural lighting worked really well and I didn't have any difficulties with it.
For some shots of the After Shave Balm I used, I placed the product in to some water with bubbles. I think this gives a nice light effect to the photo. However, I also tried to get some shot of dropping the product into the water. I thought this would create a cool effect of water droplets but unfortunately I didn't have the equipment to do so. I couldn't get a slow enough shutter speed on my camera to capture the droplets so it ended up coming out blurry or missing the droplets, as pictured below.
Although I didn't manage to get these photos, I am happy enough with the ones that I did manage to get to use them for my website.
Still Life 1
After researching my target market, I've discovered they'd like to see some grooming posts on my website. I've decided to add this in the form of a still life shoot. Showing some different products close up is what I have in mind. It is simple but will hopefully come across as effective.
Here's a few photos I liked the look of. The layouts are simple but the effect of them works really well. I like the simplicity of the photos on the left, but I think they are a little plain for my website. The photos on the right appeal to me much more. I have an idea to shoot my products in the bathroom to add to authenticity of them, much like the middle picture. But to add and extra element I had an idea to try and add bubbles to the products as well.
I will use natural lighting for my photographs as I think this will work well.

Survey Responses
I've compiled a short survey asking some of my target market their thoughts on the website. The results show that customers would like to see a mixture of both images and text on the editorials. The first time I submitted my website, I only included very minimal text, so now i'll be planning to change this.
I also asked how many editorials people would like to see. The majority of people expected to see at least 5 editorials a month. I think this is an achievable amount, and something I could stick to so I will be aiming for this.
I also asked people to rank what they are most interested in out of 4 options, Fashion, Lifestyle, Grooming and Wardrobe Essentials. The results were, in order:

Following these results, I am going to make sure the majority of my website focuses on fashion, which I had previously done anyway. I didn't include any grooming sections before so I think this will be a good addition and something people will be interested in. I am also going to look in to adding a lifestyle editorial.
Target Market
Looking at my plan for my target market, I am updating my website to make sure I am meeting it fully. MANNOW caters to men who are Fashion Conscious, so I know I need to update my website further to achieve this. I've also spoken about grooming in my plan, which I didn't include originally, so this time I am going to make sure I do. I am going to plan a still life style grooming shoot later today. I will also be conducting a survey to ask men what else they would like to see on the website. Hopefully this will boost my website to be what I set it out to be.
Plans for MANNOW
Following my result of my FMP, I have decided to re-attempt my project making some major changes.
My first move will be to plan some additional shoots. One of my feedback comments was that I should include extra content and make my editorials longer so that's what I'm going to work on first. I'm also planning on adding some more copy to go alongside my text. After my first submission I actually think the site may function better with a little extra explanation to go with the editorials.
